I enjoy poking holes at established methods of filmmaking, finding effective process augmentation with technology. My daily focus is creating, scaling, and automating video workflows that facilitates my creative team's vision. Handpicked for their diverse yet objective opinions, simply listening to the crew always provide invaluable insights to the systems in place. Having the advantage of being a part of technical crews, directing teams, post-production technicians, content marketing, and business development, I realise that that rolling up our sleeves is a rite of passage for any managing member of the team. Those five years of bootstrapping has kept me close to the ground today, and allow me to understand what makes video content workflows fluid. While my obsession with maximising efficiencies in digital content production stems from a laziness for repetitive tasks, the ultimate objective is enabling my account managers to always delight our clients: underpromise and overdeliver. Now, I am challenging my team to explore new animation technologies. Before I provide any direction, my job is to try them out; identifying their pitfalls will allow me to create processes that overcome the hurdles to realising my team's creative vision.
