About Jared Ward

October, 2011, I went from “Rock bottom,” to reinvention. I came from a hard living situation in Los Angeles, CA. One day, I decided to change all of that and started down a new path, a path of health and wellness. One of my accomplishments since starting down this new path was achieving the honor of being invited to be a member of the Phi Theta Kappa society; an honor society for those with academic excellence. While at Saddleback Community College, I achieved the honor of Summa Cum Laude. While working at Starbucks, I received Green Apron cards from fellow partners. Green Apron cards such as Knowledgeable, Genuine, Welcoming, and Involved. While opening a new Drive-Thru Starbucks store, I led our team to increase customer satisfaction and store operation reviews from 24% to 60% in 4 months. I have trained and led teams to stronger, long-lasting customer relationships. Since 2011, members of every work place I have been with have consistently commented on my joy, persistent smile, and ability to inspire others no matter what challenges or hardships I faced. Because of my managements skills, I keep a well maintained work-life balance. Drive, perseverance, compassion, understanding, and joy; five of the key principles I emphasize in my life. I am focused on culturally competent and holistic healthcare for all people. Not just focusing on one’s medical state, but all dimensions of their being to produce health and wellness spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually. In the future, I plan to lead a place where I can use my life, education, and work experience to better the lives of all those in my community.
