About Jared West

I am Military Police that specializes in Correction and Detention Operations. I maintain custody and control of up to 100 inmates at the only maximum confinement facility in the Department of Defense, United States Disciplinary Barracks. I was also the Training Manager for my company where I managed and maintained up to 220 Training Folders and Training Packets. I also managed and maintained multiple Excel spread sheets for different sections of training. I also assisted our Operations Department by scheduling and managing Field Training Exercises, scheduling ranges and dealing with day to day operations. I have also endured a Hardship Tour to South Korea in 2018 where I successfully trained another unit in Detainee Operations. Upon my return from South Korea, I was placed in charge of a Squad of 20 Soldiers. Currently, I am the Schools and Training Manager for a Battalion of 700. Before the Army, I was in the marketing and sales field. I worked for multiple car dealerships that helped me better develop my negotiation skills as well as my communication skills.
