About Jariah Johnson

I am a Mass Communication major with a concentration in Journalism Loyola student. As I learn about news and media throughout my classes every day, such as Media Literacy and Mass Communication Ethics and Diversity, my skills have excelled in journalism. I continue to specialize my assets and exceed my broadcasting and journalism goals. I am interested in all media platforms and crafting a professional image for myself and my company as a student. I have accomplished more professional social media marketing and management skills through my social media associate job with Southern Rep Theatre that I received freshman year. As a sophomore, I have explored and developed more creative talents to shape my marketing skills further. I have experience building and leading teams through being the social media coordinator with The Maroon. I am strategically driven and a critical thinker when creatively making plans and ideas for increasing social media analytics. I continuously learn technology programs to implement problem-solving and reach goals. Also, I love to be a good motivator and encourager in teamwork. My writing skills have developed since I have started working for Where Y'At Magazine. It has shown me to write different articles for a big audience. It has helped me understand how to register for a company professionally. As I continue to be their intern, I will continue educating myself on how to write and become a better writer for my future. As I establish myself, I execute strong, hard-working, public speaking, marketing, and writing skills through my expertise.
