About Jarice Mason

While studying an interdisciplinary degree in Materials Science & Engineering, I’ve gained skills in conceptualizing design solutions through processes as well as working as a Research Assistant visualizing samples using optical microscopy. This path has allowed me to acquire familiarity with coding systems as well as data trends. As someone who prioritizes collaboration, I've found joy in working in teams to help create safe social environments as a Resident Assistant as well as providing customer service through great communication and active listening. While acting as President of the National Pan-Hellenic Council I served as the liaison between chapters and the director communicating expectations from both sides. These skills that have allowed me to comfortably take leadership roles in all settings when assessing problems. Identifying patterns to develop successful solutions has been a specialty of mine I've continued to use even in my free time when creating crests and symbols from wood for family members and friends. Along with these skills I hope to continue to be a driving force of change and bring a positive attitude to the table each and every time.
