About Jarret Berfond

Jarret Berfond, 40, was born and raised in south Florida. Following graduation from Marjory Stoneman Douglas HIgh School Jarret attended the University of South Florida where he graduated in 2003 with a degree in Criminology. Following his time in Tampa at USF, Jarret attended Nova Southeastern University School of Law, graduating in 2006 and earning his Juris Doctorate. Client centered representation in litigation has always been Jarret's mantra. Throughout his career as an assistant public defender in the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County, a civil litigator representing some of the largest financial institutions in the United States and now since October of 2020 at Oppenheim Law, Jarret has brought always brought his passion and dedication in zelously representing his clients. Jarret focuses his talents on assisting Oppenheim's clients in general civil litigation matters including foreclosure defense, business litigaton and contested probate actions. Outside of practicing law, Jarret is married to his beautiful wife Cassandra and both share an adorable yet rambunctious son, Brenden (7). Jarret is an avid boater and enjoys taking his family and friends on boating trips to Lake Boca or one of the many swimming areas on the intercoastal waterway. Jarrets other passions include sports, especially the Florida Panthers hockey team of which he is a member of their official fan club and of course the Miami Dolphins.
