About Jarret Schlaff

Instead of working to live better than others, imagine what's possible when communities organize themselves around everyone and everything doing well. In Detroit I get to learn and build alongside some of the most dedicated, creative, mission driven folks on the planet. I currently serve and lead alongside a powerhouse team as we create products that are solutions and inspire. I am the Co-founder and CEO of Pingree Detroit, a manufacturing company that is 95% zero waste, carbon negative, leveraging upcycled materials from the automotive industry, and working to source 100% of our inputs from US manufacturers by 2027. I also am the Founder of Lectric Boil, an emerging start-up that exists to accelerate the shift towards a restorative, localized, equitable economy. Our primary product is the world’s first portable induction stove and generator with a removable battery and dual burners for campers, outdoor workers, victims of natural disasters — and anyone, anywhere, cooking or surviving off-grid. I seek to not only pay a living wage but reimagine what it means to wage a living!
