About Jarrett Goering

As an Information Technology Security Analyst at Rural King, I protect the company's network and data from cyber threats and breaches. I have two certifications from CompTIA, the Security+ and the Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), which demonstrate my knowledge and skills in cybersecurity domains such as risk management, threat detection, incident response, and security architecture. I also have experience in remediation and vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT), which I apply to identify and resolve security issues and enhance the company's defense posture. Prior to joining Rural King, I worked as a Service Technician at Turnkey Computer Systems, Inc, where I provided technical support and maintenance for computer systems and software. I also worked as a Prep Technician at Heartland Dental, where I prepared and installed dental equipment and software. I have a diploma of education in Cyber Operation Specialist from the U.S. Army Cyber School, where I learned how to conduct offensive and defensive cyber operations and support the Army's mission in cyberspace. I also have some background in computer programming, which I studied at Lake Land College for a year. I am passionate about cybersecurity and always eager to learn new technologies and techniques to safeguard the company's assets and customers. I am a team player, a problem solver, and a critical thinker, who strives to deliver high-quality results and solutions.
