About Jarrod Tyerman

Jarrod commenced his professional career with Clayton Rudall Pty Ltd preparing individual tax returns who have significant investments through to small to medium size businesses. In July 2011, following a merger between Clayton Rudall and BDO in South Australia, Jarrod moved from the Gawler office into the Adelaide office to better service clients of the two firms. Jarrod was recruited into BDO's Superannuation Team in September 2012. BDO's Superannuation Team provides specialist compliance services and advice for Australian Self Managed Superannuation Funds. Jarrod is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. Jarrod has been a member since September 2013. He also has a Graduate Certificate of Financial Planning. Jarrod was recruited into UHY Haines Norton Superannuation Team in June 2014 as a Senior Accountant. Jarrod's experience includes advice on Limited Recourse Borrowing Arrangements (LRBA's), Contribution Strategies, Estate Planning and Audit Services. In July 2015, Jarrod was recruited by Ink in London as their temporary Finance Manager. Jarrod's main responsibility is to manage Ink's group short term cash flow. A challenging role given Ink's presence in many parts of the world, including UK, Europe, USA and Americas, Singapore and greater Asia. After returning from London, Jarrod has worked in the Finance Team at Yalumba Wine Company. Whilst at Yalumba Jarrod has been responsible for a number of different Finance functions. These include Cash Flow Forecasting, Foreign Exchange Management, Budgeting and much more. After being fortunate enough to visit 23 countries and live in 3 cities across the globe, Alex & Jarrod started Young Money Skills in April 2019. Young Money Skills was created as a platform to share their financial skills with other Young Australians. Young Money Skills empowers students to achieve their financial goals and is run exclusively in high schools across Australia. Being involved in meaningful change is very important to Jarrod. In March 2021, he started with Champions of Change Coalition. The Champions of Change engages leaders to help achieve gender equality and significantly and sustainably increase the representation of women in leadership. The Champions of Change Coalition encourages men to step up beside women – men take responsibility with women to accelerate gender equality, not focusing on 'fixing' women.
