About Jasmin Bower

As a passionate Earth Scientist currently pursuing a Master of Science in Environmental Geoscience at UCL, I am specialising in the study of Iron-Oxide-Apatite Ore deposits. I have been recognised twice for producing work of high honours standard within the Earth Sciences Department, receiving both the Hollingsworth and Bonney Prizes. My academic journey has equipped me with a comprehensive skill set, including geological mapping, environmental remote sensing, and strategies for mitigating climate change. My practical experience extends to my role as a Climate Intern at The Copper Mark, where I contributed to understanding market demands for decarbonisation and the circular economy. Additionally, I am an experienced tutor with Bonas MacFarlane, aiding students aged 6-18 in subjects ranging from Maths and English to Science, Geology, and Geography. I am a determined individual who is always looking for new and exciting challenges, particularly those that aim to minimize our anthropogenic impact on the environment. I am known for my strong work ethic, problem-solving capabilities, and proficiency in analyzing and utilizing datasets. Working well under pressure, I take pride in my ability to remain focused and composed during challenging times.
