About Jasmin Dolor

A hard-working, trustworthy sport and exercise science graduate who is often described by others as being a “people’s person”, someone who is always willing to help. My fascination with - and mass participation - in sports such as netball, football, dancing etc, have enabled me to enhance my skills as a great team-worker - which benefits me to a greater extent in pursuit of a career working with clients. Throughout my active life, I have worked within a team whether competing at a regional level or coaching the younger years, making me an excellent team player and problem solver. I believe that my exceptional team-working, leadership and communicational skills have always set me apart making me the ideal candidate to bring about change whilst high levels of motivation coincide.As time progressed, I took it upon myself to gain work experience in a more specific as well as desired field of choice. I spent a month working at the NELFT NHS Foundation Trust where is liaised with physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists in order to assist adults with learning difficulties. In doing this, I gained understanding of how to work independently and with others to accommodate the needs of people with cognitive impairments. In addition to this, my work as an activity leader for a linguistics company, has given me the opportunity to strengthen my experience as a support worker in the way that I had to express myself more thoroughly through the use of body language - as language barriers made it harder for students to understand. In addition to this, my time-keeping skills and competence are highlighted as I am one who never gives up until a task is completed to its highest expectancy within a given time frame. Whilst studying at university, I built on my fundamental knowledge on health and exercise. My interest for modules such as sports psychology, exercise rehabilitation and referral, biomechanical analysis (in reference to gait patterns) were deeply highlighted. I volunteered with the Medway Working Age Group to help assist rehabilitation classes for people with Parkinson's Disease. This initiated my dissertation project on the effect of exercise on cognition in people with PD. I then went on and successfully gained my diploma in nutrition to aid with the rehabilitation of others through dieting and supplements. I also have a passion for content creating and have been building my instagram page which has been widely recognized by the likes of Nike, Footlocker, Offspring etc where I have taken part in several campaigns.
