About Jasmine Bowles

Hello, My name is Jasmine, and I am a student at Seattle Pacific University! I am completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology with a concentration in data analytics. I am also part of the University Scholars Honors Program and have a second major in Honors. I am currently an intern at our Undergraduate Admissions office as well! My path towards a psychology degree started with psychometry, as it appealed to my interest I. mathematics and understanding people’s subjective experiences. In clinical psychology, for example, diagnostic tools can be so helpful in identifying the status and needs of someone’s mental health. The results of such tests can help people make informed decisions about treatment to improve their quality of life. This isn’t the only way that data and a curiosity about people can be helpful to others. The past two years at SPU have expanded my understanding of careers in psychology that align with my passions. I am looking for internships and research experience to help me understand the kind of work environment and job description that I would want to grow into throughout my professional career. I am looking forward to connecting with businesses, research laboratories, clinics, and others to learn more about the importance of data analysis in helping others, in a variety of contexts. I’d love to connect! Thanks for your time, Jasmine Bowles
