At CBC/Radio-Canada, my role as Producer of Special Projects and Branded Content revolves around creating, producing and managing influential music programs and competitions like ‘REVERIE, Indigenous Music Residency’,'SEARCHLIGHT' and 'The Canadian Music Class Challenge'. These initiatives have not only showcased our commitment to fostering musical talent but have also amplified our brand through strategic sponsorships and community engagement. As the Music Programmer for the 'POP Canada','POP 40','Adult POP','Women Who Have Changed Music','POP Christmas' and the 'Searchlight' streams on CBC Listen I curate and maintain playlists that reflect current musical trends for Canadians. As COO and Creative Director of my own enterprise, I've spearheaded the fusion of a state-of-the-art rehearsal studio with a contemporary music school, delivering professional-level instruction. My business acumen in identifying target customers, crafting effective marketing strategies, and building robust local partnerships has been instrumental in elevating the brand's presence in the competitive music industry landscape. Personal music accomplishments include co-writing the 2015 Pan Am Games theme song ‘Together We Are One’, being nominated for a JUNO Award as a songwriter in 2018 on one of Nuela Charles’ albums, and touring as a background singer with Nelly Furtado over several years.
