About Jasmine Dhalla

I am a recent graduate from McGill University with a BA in Political Science and Government. I have a passion for education and international relations, and I have gained valuable experience as a teaching assistant, an educator, and a campaign staff in various settings. I have developed strong communication, writing, and research skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.As a teaching assistant at Unionville College, I coordinated one-on-one teaching with 12 students, helping them improve their learning and grades in various subjects. I also collaborated with teachers to create effective resources and activities for the classroom. As an educator at Lululemon, I greeted customers and helped them with product questions, selections, and purchases. I also established vendor relationships and improved recreational programming based on feedback. As a campaign staff at Global Affairs Canada, I worked on the 'Together for Learning' campaign to promote quality education for refugees and displaced children and youth. I assisted with office tasks, managed content sharing, attended and transcribed hearings, researched and drafted op-eds, and collaborated with departmental heads on campaign awareness. I am motivated by the opportunity to make a positive impact on the world through education and advocacy, and I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.
