About Jasmine Harper-Davis

After nearly a decade in education—as a teacher, grade-level lead, and instructional coach—I’m now pivoting into the entertainment industry, with a focus on writing, marketing, and content creation. Throughout my career in education, I honed skills that translate directly to content creation and creative strategy: clear and engaging communication, project management, storytelling, and team leadership. Whether I was designing curriculum, leading a grade-level team, or coaching teachers as an administrator, my work always centered around connecting with people and delivering impactful messages. What many don’t know is that before (and during) my time in education, I was also a professional writer—contributing full-time to Broadway Black, where I covered theatre, culture, and entertainment. That experience reaffirmed my passion for storytelling, audience engagement, and amplifying diverse voices. Today, I’m seeking opportunities in entertainment writing or marketing, where I can combine my creative background with my leadership and communication expertise to contribute to meaningful, story-driven work.
