About Jasmine Nnate

I am a 6th and 8th Grade Science Instructor. I reside on the Middle School Leadership Committee as a liaison between administrators and teachers. Until recently, I have worked in assisting to create an adult education curriculum to be used for an adult citizenship course alongside of working one-on-one with Adult Education students. I led the Integrated Physics and Chemistry Team at Pasadena High School and served as a Curriculum Writer for the district I am capable of differentiating and accommodating lessons to tailor the needs of my students. I worked with students to be successful in higher education and increase student knowledge of collegiate opportunities. I am also an expert in project based learning and educational presentations.The projects that I have created and modified will be used as a resource for all of the high school campuses in our district. Additionally turning my classroom this year into a blended learning classroom has proven to be successful in engaging, motivating, and diversifying instructional strategies. My ability to collaborate with the administration and other departments has increased test scores for every six week exam, increased success rate in physics, and the retention rate of ESL, Special Education, and at risk student populations. My work with juvenile, behavioral health, at risk, and autistic children in the education system has been to develop and implement programs to increase their academic success. My work with Community In Schools helped to provide resource linkage to students and the Pasadena Community. Colleagues know me as creative, compassionate, and goal oriented.I know that people come first and I aim to meet the needs of the communities that I serve. My relentless spirit to not give up on those that I serve is what brought the climate of success in my classroom and I will take that with me to this position.
