About Jasmine Pearman

I received my Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX. I achieved this degree while observing occupational therapists in a SNF, pediatric and school setting, volunteering in the community with Burgers for Backpack Buddies, the Laboratory of Wellness and Motor Behavior, and the Stephenville Special Olympics events. Additionally, I was a part of student organizations such as Alpha Gamma Delta, Phi Eta Sigma, and Tarleton Transition Mentors. In my free time at Tarleton State, I enjoyed many of the on-campus activities, local rodeos and concerts, and being outdoors with friends and family in surrounding recreational areas. I am currently working on my Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at Texas Woman's University. I am a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Student Occupational Therapy Association at TWU. I work for Wise Health System, Fit-N-Wise Therapy and Rehabilitation Services as an Occupational Therapy Tech. I love my job as I am able to apply my learning from TWU in a clinical setting and learn from experienced occupational therapists. Since starting OT school at TWU, I have volunteered at The Junction, REACT Neuro-Rehab, and Scottish Rite for Children. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, doing puzzles, working on my physical and mental health, and be outdoors with my dog, Petra.
