About Jasmine Qin

Jasmine Qin is an associate in the Business Law Group at Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, regulatory compliance and general corporate and securities law matters. Jasmine represents investment dealers and public and private companies across a range of industries, with particular emphasis on mining and cannabis. Prior to joining Cassels Brock as an associate, Jasmine was both a summer and articling student at the firm.Jasmine is a graduate of the combined J.D./Honours Business Administration program at Western University. At law school, she volunteered as a Case Manager for the Western Business Law Clinic, a unique non-profit initiative that provides early stage and start-up companies with legal assistance. She also served as a member of the Western Heart & Stroke Club and Western Consulting Club. While at Western, Jasmine received a number of awards, including winning the Ivey Innovation Challenge and being a finalist in the Boston Consulting Group Case Competition. Prior to studying law, Jasmine worked as a financial risk analyst for a large global conglomerate.
