About Jasmine Schoon

Throughout my 20 years of being a Christ follower, I have served in a variety of volunteer and professional roles within the local church. These have included internships as a Youth Ministry intern, Pastoral Care intern, and Worship Director intern. In 2019, I took my first pastoral role as a Youth and Family Pastor of a Free Methodist Church in Indianapolis. Throughout the years, I have served in various worship styles, congregation sizes, and geographical locations, both rural and urban. Now, as a stay at home mother of my little girl, I volunteer several hours a week serving as a small group leader to the Junior high school girls and 8th grade girls. I am also an active participant in the musical worship team and serve as the Social Events Director of the Mom’s Crossing ministry. I continue to keep my books open for new violin students, as I am passionate about training young musicians in classical studies, music theory, and improvisation. My hobbies include taking my daughter and dog on hikes, writing reflections and studying Scripture, and learning about the uses of ionized water. Though my day to day ministry is primarily focused on the discipleship of my family, I do look forward to the Lord opening a door to serve pastorally in the local church once again in the future.
