About Jasmine Scott

Community-centric, purpose-driven and creatively minded, I bring over six years of experience leading digital community growth, social media strategy, and music marketing across the independent music and education sectors. Currently Head of Community & Social at RepostExchange, I’ve played a key role in scaling a vibrant global network of independent artists, overseeing campaigns, partnerships, and strategic content that foster real artist engagement and platform growth. I’m especially passionate about supporting creatives to succeed independently by building spaces that are inclusive, dynamic, and valuable. Alongside this, I lecture part-time at the University of Sunderland, where I teach crowdsourcing and community building/management. I also co-direct Trapped Animal Records, an indie label nurturing new music talent and releasing critically acclaimed records. Whether I’m managing large-scale remix competitions, facilitating artist feedback loops, or mentoring students, my work always puts people and community at the heart.
