With over 17 years of work experience in finance and accounting, I am a seasoned professional with a passion for delivering quality services to clients and stakeholders. I have a proven track record of leading and managing teams, implementing efficient processes, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial transactions. I am currently an Assistant Manager-Finance & Accounting at Infosys BPM, a global leader in business process management and digital transformation. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have an international academic qualification verified by World Education Services, and I have worked with clients from various industries and regions. In my current role, I lead a team of 16 people in accounts payable and accounts receivable, and I assign and review their work on a daily basis. I am responsible for ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments and customer collections, as well as meeting month-end deadlines for booking all AP and AR entries. I also audit treasury wire payments, intercompany transfers, payroll journal entries, and AP and AR invoices in SAP, ensuring correct GL and cost centers are used. I direct my team to get proper approvals from various department heads, and I support treasury with the weekly cash forecast report. I resolve vendor and customer issues and queries, as well as those of my subordinates. I use my operations, attention to detail, and account reconciliation skills to perform my duties effectively and efficiently.
