About Jason Aughney

As the Events, Marketing & Communications Lead at TU Dublin Students' Union, I am responsible for developing and implementing effective engagement strategies with students through high-quality communications and marketing activities. I have over 5 years of experience in this role, and previously I was the Key Development Manager for the same organisation, overseeing the delivery of events and identifying new opportunities for providing services to the student members. I have a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Technological University Dublin, and I have developed strong skills in Communication, Event Management, Organisation, Time Management, and Leadership. I am passionate about enhancing the student experience and creating a sense of community and belonging among the diverse student body. I am also committed to working collaboratively with key stakeholders, including the Vice-Presidents, other Officers, the Board of Directors, and the University. I am proud of the achievements and impact that we have made as a team, such as increasing the awareness and involvement of the union, organising successful and inclusive events and activities, and supporting the strategic plan and policies of the elected officers.
