About Jason Ayre

For as long as I can remember I have been facinated by how things work, in my younger years it often got me into trouble for pulling apart something I shouldn’t and losing Dads tools in the process. The drive to not only fix something but understand how it works has served me well during my career taking me from an apprentice to specialist to engineer as my passion for electric drive haul trucks developed. Working in the mining industry for around 18 years (bar a 2 year hiatus to study engineering full time) I have focused the majority of that time to electric drive trucks, specfically the GE OHV Systems. Starting in the industry at a unique time I have had the privelege of working on a few system variations including DC Statex II, DC Statex AC Invertex Ie and AC Invertex II. I now combine my experience and habit of needing to know how things work to help provide fault finding expertise, root cause analysis, personel training and maintenace strategy consulting on all thing GE Drive Haul trucks. Please reach out if you need assistance on a truck fault, training, fleet wide issues or help setting up the maintenance strategies for your fleet.
