About Jason Baker

A former digital marketer, I began to explore and live abroad in the world with the purposes of exploring different lifestyles and work cultures. I am drawn to expanding my knowledge of the world and the fascinating history that we as humans share in our cultures. Transferring my natural social skills as a networker and relationship cultivator to my passion of travel sales has allowed me to focus on driving sales by results and provide outstanding customer service to clients around the world. From the early days of being a sales representative to submitting designs for the 2010 Olympics, my goal has always been putting the needs of the customer first. Finding out what the customer wants, where the customers play, and who they interact with is part of that goal. It ultimately leads to finding more effective ways of communication. In my social media experience, I not only believe in helping customers, but I find it to be a valuable resource to continue learning. Online conversations have also successfully developed into establishing and building deeper long lasting in personal relationships, including opportunities to help promote and organize valuable events such as: to help promote the BCAMA and their annual Vision Conference. • Former digital volunteer specialist for the BCAMA in creating and cultivating online conversations leading to an increase in event participation, attendees, and ultimately, future membership revenueI. • Active member in the social media community helping to organize events and secure special guests such as Guy Kawasaki. • Special guest workshop panelist for Hootsuite at the F5 Expo educating an audience of 20 to 30 business leaders on the importance of social media in their businesses.
