My name is Jason Baker. I am 53 years old, I’m in good health and physical condition. I do not drink, use tobacco or take medications/drugs of any kind. I am seeking employment in the Maritime industry that will be fulfilling and rewarding. I have an exceptional work ethic, a can-do attitude, & I take pride in my work on any task regardless of the size or importance. If my name is on the job, it will be done right, done safely, and to the best of my abilities. I truly enjoy helping people any way I can, I love to fix things, make them better or more efficient. I have a passion for learning and gaining new experience. I am safety and security minded with a 14-year law enforcement background in a supervisory role. I have served aboard numerous USNS vessels and participated in numerous exercises with various branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. I am trained and certified in the use of forklifts, boom lifts, cranes, power tools, hand tools, first aid, firefighting, firearms, and have a universal EPA certification for HVAC. I believe I would be a solid employee, meet or exceed your needs and expectations for the position I am applying for and eventually grow into a position of leadership.
