About Jason Bauer

As a lead at Illicit Gardens I ensure my department is safe, welcoming, and productive. Everyday I strive towards best practice and professionalism. Consistently leading my team to reach and surpass production goals. Using METRC and various facility logs I ensure departmental compliance. I provide coaching and procedural guidance to twenty plus team members. My current area of speciality is operating an Ishida packaging machine, and labeling packages through Treefer with a Dataflex printer. Previously I earned my MFA and MA from UMKC. Graduate school trained me in professionalism, collaboration, and empathy. As a student of Theater I have honed my creative eye and sense of art history. I have learned to listen, record, and produce sound from some of Kansas City’s finest recording artists. I’m creative, tenacious, and grateful.
