About Jason Bechtel

Senior Engineer with 25+ years in the Wireless Telecommunication Industry. All 25 years have been with GSM, CDMA, UMTS, LTE, and 5G technologies on both the wireless infrastructure (hardware) as a Network Engineer and the design/performance of wireless networks as a RF Engineer. I have worked in the Indianapolis and Cincinnati markets for both SprintPCS and T-Mobile from no network, to launching, to a mature network with learned knowledge of resolving all of the obstacles that a growing, maturing network experiences. In my spare time, I have self-taught myself several skills associated with software applications and IoT. I have programmed in Python, Java, C++, C#, ASP, and HTML. I have also self-taught myself about Oracle databases and MS SQL servers. Most recently, I have worked in Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, Alteryx, and Power BI. These skill sets have allowed me to create my own custom applications that several departments within eight T-Mobile markets utilize (ie Site Tool, Email Performance Monitoring). Most recently, I am learning about MQTT for IoT automations within my home (running on a Raspberry Pi).
