The sourcing of land and development opportunities is the key responsibility of the business development role. The purpose is to seek and secure unique market opportunities that will grow a pipeline of supply for sales and increased build volumes across NSW and the ACT. The BDM role focuses on capitalising on an extensive industry network of profiled developers to provide tailored solutions that will help them sell more land and crystallise development opportunities. Working at the forefront of the building lifecycle leverages from indepth knowledge of sales, operations and construction and experience in a high volume fast paced environment that delivers quality at an affordable price. Advancing from Regional General Manager of McDonald Jones Homes, I built a high performing team that delivered with enthusiasm, collaboration and professionalism an aspirational brand with housing solutions that transform the way people live. Redefining the property market, I thrive in a diverse and autonomous management role with detailed experience and understanding of the entire construction lifecycle that further includes design, marketing, contract management and dispute resolution. In only a few years, McDonald Jones has become the biggest residential builder in the Canberra Region and Southern NSW. Grounded with business reengineering experience and family foundations in construction and property development, these core skills have formed a platform upon which strategic business principles are applied to decision making and practical applications that generate tangible business growth, satisfied customers and dedicated staff. Possessing a development management background I have built a breadth of practical and technical experience across all facets of the property lifecycle, throughout different property sectors and am well exposed to the principles of town planning, estate and housing design, feasibility and sustainability. I am an effective leader, communicator and decision maker who can facilitate across all levels of an organisation to create a culture of success. I am a team player who also has the discipline and self-drive to work independently. I have strong due diligence and task management skills, practical business acumen and a proven track record in delivering results.
