About Jason Brouk

I began my professional career in college when I took a summer internship with Walgreens in Cape Girardeau MO as a management intern in 2002. From there, I took a full time position at the store as an assistant manager during my senior year of college. I graduated magna cum laude from Southeast Missouri State University in May 2003. From there, I moved back to the St. Louis area from which I had grown up, and began working in the surrounding Walgreens stores. I worked at nearly 15 different stores all through the various areas of St. Louis and surrounding areas. After feeling as though I had hit a career roadblock in which Walgreens had begun downsizing districts and promotions became fewer and fewer, I decided to move careers from drug store management to grocery store management in 2009. I again worked at about a half dozen stores as a Management Trainee, before being promoted to Store Manager of the brand new Chesterfield, MO location in 2011. I grew this store from the ground up. After running this store for over two years, I have come to the conclusion that I want more from my career than simply the role of Store Manager of a grocery store. Unfortunately, that is all the farther I can climb with Aldi, so I have decided to venture out into the job market and pursue a new career. I have now acquired a new position as the Sales Estimator for the Schaefer Autobody Center. I am really looking forward to expanding my horizons and learning a new trade.
