About Jason C. Healy

Experienced in academic leadership roles in multiple higher education institutions. My core skills are in qualitative marketing research, online and offline, to generate consumer insights that drive product and brand development and guide marketing strategy. How consumers have an effect on brands, brand value/equity, brand identity, and the culture and symbolism surrounding brands is central to my expertise and interest. Awarded a PhD from Dublin City University following a five year Consumer Research (CCT) study of football fandom in the English Premier League, utilising interpretive, hermeneutic, grounded theory inspired methods and analytic techniques in an online context, including Netnography. My years of immersion in researching consumers, online in particular, has led me to develop a keen interest in how brands, marketers, and managers may interact with consumers and brand communities in order to collaboratively create value together. I have experience in designing, implementing, and reporting of International Accreditation Projects for University Programme Level Assurance of Learning Outcomes (e.g. AACSB Accreditation).
