About Jason Conroy

Jason Conroy has more than 30 years of experience working with businesses in Australia, New Zealand, the United States and the United Kingdom. Through his experiences as a board member and a former senior executive, Jason brings expertise in the management and governance of complex organisations particularly in the fields of M&A, corporate and project finance, and business transformation. Jason is the non-executive chairman of Birdwood Energy Storage and Transition (BEST, backed by Aware Super), and a non-executive director of Symphony Infrastructure Partners (backed by Blackstone), Beca Group Limited and PWR Holdings Limited (ASX: PWH). He is also the chairman of the audit & risk committee for Symphony and Beca, and chairman of the audit, risk & sustainability committee for PWR. He is a former board member of ASX listed and private companies in the energy infrastructure, resources, clean technology and not-for-profit sectors, and a former Chief Financial Officer of Transgrid, Australia’s largest power transmission business, and of DUET Group, a former ASX100 energy infrastructure conglomerate. Jason is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (FCA), and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting).
