About Jason Cramer

I graduated from the University of Akron with a B.S. in Civil Engineering after studying for 6 years while working full-time at Fisher's Foods. During this time, I developed both professionally and personally with regards to efficiency, leadership, work ethic, and the ability to adapt to change. My engineering career began at AllSourcePPT as a Civil Engineer I, assisting Dominion East Ohio Gas with their Project Prioritization Team (PPT) developing project scopes for the bare steel replacement program. I worked for Dominion East Ohio as a Engineering Technician - Design. The duties of this position included, but were not limited to, the development of project design using AutoCAD, researching field notes, contacting municipalities regarding construction requirements, acquiring construction permits, building positive relationships with various city/township coordinators and engineers, and maintaining continuous communication with Gas Design Management, Project Managers, Supervisors, and Technical Specialists. From there, I moved to an Engineer I, in the Project Prioritization Team (P.P.T.) working with the Pipeline Infrastructure Replacement Program. My initial role provided needed support in software testing and troubleshooting potential new software. I also worked heavily with Excel during this time, developing multiple spreadsheets and creating algorithms for a new company initiative. Next, I moved to a new responsibilities within P.P.T, such as working with the Public Authority Budget Plan and our Mainline Replacement Budget Plan. In 2016, I decided to make a move to our Ohio Integrity Management Team to work in the Internal Corrosion group. My main focus is inline inspection data analysis as our ILI engineer and leading our internal corrosion coupon program. My continued efforts in the Corrosion group has afforded me opportunities to complete a number of NACE courses (Inline Inspection, Internal Corrosion Basic and Advanced) and also become a NACE CP 1 and NACE CIP 1 certified. I have completed the NACE CP 2 course and my test is upcoming to become NACE CP 2 certified. Although I have been working on my external corrosion education, my main focus is still inline inspection.
