Conducting formative assessment processes (non-evaluative and reflective lessons) to support the instructional development of teachers. Creating appealing curriculums and implementing comprehensive courses entitled Math in Real Life, Gender Identity and Power, Transforming the World Through Education, Rockin’ Road, and New Orleans After Katrina: City, Community, and Home. Establishing professional development programs, coordinating activities, and administering all related staff members. As a School Board Member, I possess a strong combination of knowledge, experience, and talents for identifying school and community needs, organizing events, approving curriculums, preparing budgets, and improving various environments through the development of Future ready graduation requirements A Career and Technical Education Building Strategic Plans that advance student support services Community wide school activities that are modeled after instructional best practices. Presently, I am strongly committed to leveraging my educational and professional background to improve student understanding, support institutional goals, and lead strategic planning initiatives. It is through these experiences that I have garnered and maintained the ability to enhance academic processes, achieve program goals, and increase organizational performance.
