About Jason Diaz

A knowledgable individual with skill and attention to detail, Jason Diaz is a young professional with a specialization in fine wine sales. 2022 will mark Jason's fifth year in the wine industry. Before embarking on his career in wine, Jason was formerly a classical young artist in training at the renowned Westminster Choir College in Princeton. With a focused solo vocal repertoire in Romantic era music, Jason frequently performed the artistic works of notable composers such as Schubert, Schumann and Vaughan Williams among others. Notable performances of mention also includes a two year period with the Westminster Symphonic Choir under the direction of Dr. Joe Miller, where he performed major works such as Mozart's Mass in C Minor with the Philadelphia Orchestra under Maestro Yannick Nezet-Seguin, Britten's War Requiem under Maestro Charles Dutoit, and Beethoven's 9th Symphony under Maestro Alan Gilbert with the New York Philaharmonic. Jason possesses two requisite accreditations within the wine trade, having attained his Level 2 Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas in 2018 as well as an additional Certified Sommelier certification with the Wine School of Philadelphia under the National Wine School. Other notable stints include two harvests with New Jersey wineries Unionville and Beneduce Vineyards, in addition to a newsletter and data entry internship with the Winemaker's Co-Op. Jason resides currently in Madison, New Jersey with his two good friends, Phillip and Perry
