I have worked in mortuaries since 2001, mostly in the role of an embalmer but since 2014 I’ve worked in forensic pathology. I currently work at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine in the role of a Forensic Technician. I am trained in all aspects of forensic autopsy techniques, forensic photography, finger printing, post mortem CT scanning and x ray, forensic trace sampling and tissue retrieval assisting the Donor Tissue Bank of Victoria. I also have an interest in Disaster Victim Identification and am part of the VIFM DVI team. I have also served in the Australian Army Reserve in the role of an Artillery Signaller.
