About Jason Emmanuel

In addition to successfully litigating complex criminal cases to verdict, my experience at the State's Attorney's Office includes grant writing, grant reporting, the development and maintenance of interagency relationships, and the successful implementation of a new case management system in 2025. I have served on the Development Board of Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital since 2022 and chaired the Glennon Golf Committee in 2024, and 2025. Prior to becoming an Assistant State's Attorney, I gained invaluable experience completing mini-pupillage placements in London, England and an internship in the Trial Chambers Division of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in The Hague, Netherlands. Domestically, I completed a summer clerkship at the United States Attorney's Office in the Southern District of Illinois and a semester long judicial externship with the Honorable Judge Stephanie Rose in the Southern District of Iowa.
