About Jason G. Cather

I'm interested in applying what I've gained from my advanced degree to life outside the walls of the academy. I still seek to understand the world as clearly as possible, at the highest level of detail and to choose the wisest course of action based on my insights. I then look for creative ways to communicate these insights in the clearest way possible. I have over a decade of experience teaching both concrete skills and abstract concepts to all ages. I've taken nuclear scientists abseiling, led environmental service-learning projects with AmeriCorps for middle and high school students, and used martial arts to demonstrate rhetoric to university students.
