I'm a senior engineering manager managing three test labs across North America. I've successfully worked in the utilities, automotive, aerospace, defense, and medical industry most of my career, including nine years with Lear / UTA, four with Panasonic, two with CKNA, and currently with the utilities green space global leader Landis + Gyr. Some career highlights include: 1. Landis + Gyr - a) HQA team lead on certification of a new venture to bring Electric Vehicles (EV) charging solutions to large-scale service providers globally.(est. new annual revenue of $15 million) b) Led IEC-62368, certification efforts to launch a revolutionary Grid Access Point mini- collector (GAP), Gateway, Bridge, EMR router for the SBS proprietary networks.(est. annual revenue of $35 million) 2. Landis + Gyr - Went above and beyond my standard job duties to investigate, determine the root causes, and correct several major contract manufacturing defects and process errors. These issues were crippling project schedules, causing costly delays, wasting resources, and causing customer dissatisfaction. At CKNA, served as the quality project leader to consolidate a two-plant operation to one in less than six months, saving the company over $1.5 million annually. At Panasonic, I uncovered several design problems with the Honda Accord audio system, which saved $480K. this helped us win Honda's coveted "Supplier of the Year" award in 2005 and 2006. Also at Panasonic, negotiating with a Tier One supplier regarding a design update on an audio unit that prevented a $537K return.
