About Jason Handerhan

I am an Industrial and Operations Engineering graduate from the University of Michigan. The classes I have taken at the University of Michigan have provided me with a technical background in operations analysis, service operations management, simulation, production and inventory control, statistical quality control, database creation/management, optimization methods, and much more. In my most recent experience, I am working as a Supply Chain Business Systems Analyst for Reply Inc. on a project to roll out the Click Reply WMS and LMS to all CNH North American Spare Parts Warehouses. During my time with Reply I have gained experience working with clients, performing system configurations in an Oracle database, designing processes and documenting requirements for software change requests, developing software change-requests, providing on-site customer support during go-lives, E2E and UAT testing, trouble-shooting test and production system issues, and coordinating releases in test and prod environments. During my internship at Bayer HealthCare, I gained hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. I utilized lean principles while working with three Bayer engineers to set up an efficient assembly line for a new infusion pump. For my senior design project, I worked with a team of engineering students to use our knowledge of inventory control to reduce infusion pump inventory holding costs for the University of Michigan Hospital. During this project I gained leadership experience by acting as the team's project manager. I worked with the client and supervisors to define project goals and scope; coordinated meetings with teammates, supervisors, and the client; scheduled and defined project deadlines; and followed up with team members to ensure the team was staying on schedule throughout the project. Outside of work, I enjoy sports, staying fit, listening to music, scuba diving, and taking hikes through nature.
