With 26 years of experience in nondestructive testing (NDT), weld workmanship, and technical compliance, I have dedicated my career to building and leading programs that ensure quality, safety, and reliability in highly regulated industries. I currently serve as Technical Compliance Manager at IMIA, LLC (International Marine Industrial Applicators, LLC), where I oversee compliance programs, certifications, and quality systems that support operational excellence and continuous improvement across ship repair and industrial maintenance. Previously, I served as the NDT and Welding Programs Manager at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), where I directed certification and compliance programs impacting 31 activities worldwide. In this role, I acted as the certifying authority for the NDT Level program, led audits and evaluations, standardized procedures, and trained both civilian and active-duty personnel. My work directly supported nuclear system integrity, submarine safety (SUBSAFE), and overall fleet readiness.
