About Jason Hiruo

ACES International is a division of ACES (Area Cooperative Education Services) founded BU Jason Hiruo in 2016 under the Authority of the Connecticut State Department of Education. ACES is based in Connecticut with an international Asia operations branch office in Beijing established in 2019. ACES International Education is committed to developing international, intercultural, and interdisciplinary competencies for students, educators, and executives. The director’s office facilitates campus internationalization, cultural competency learning, and professional development for institutions throughout North America, Asia, and Europe. From a local-to-global and global-to-local scale, we bring worlds together through education. This is accomplished by promoting customizable and strategic planning among all institutional stakeholders with a global context and lens. We believe that that it is OUR responsibility to prepare OUR students and educators for THEIR world. The work of the director’s office is to advance the vision and mission of ACES International through global engagement. This is accomplished in our partner-specific projects and joint ventures throughout the world in sixteen countries.
