I'm a communications strategist with more than 25 years of experience helping organizations tell the right story at the right time. For the past decade, I’ve focused on education and workforce system transformation. I led the marketing communications that helped scale CareerWise from a bold Colorado pilot into a nationally recognized model for modern youth apprenticeship. At the Center for Innovation in Education, I partner with state and district leaders to design inclusive strategic planning and engagement efforts that reflect the communities they serve. I’ve built and led high-performing teams, developed brand and content strategies from scratch, and managed crisis response, internal change communications, and campaign execution across every major channel. I’ve worked alongside policymakers, nonprofit leaders, educators, and business executives—and I know how to move messaging across sectors without losing clarity or impact. But beyond the resume, here's what drives me: I believe in the vital role of public institutions and the importance of public trust. At a time when confidence in these institutions is wavering, effective communications isn't just about visibility—it's about legitimacy. It's about demonstrating, through words and actions, that these institutions still matter deeply in driving opportunity, equity, and informed public discourse.
