A Senior Quality Engineering Manager with 20+ years' experience, I thrive on leading large-scale testing and managing dynamic teams of up to 20 testers. I've focused on ensuring top-tier software quality for complex Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Justice (DoJ) client projects. I'm passionate about building robust test strategies, effective automation frameworks, and championing QE best practices in SAFe Agile environments. At leading organizations like Accenture Federal Services and Nakupuna Consulting, I've consistently driven testing process improvements. My teams have produced thousands of test scripts, including significant automated regression and smoke tests using MicroFocus Unified Functional Tester (UFT) and other automated test tools. I've directed comprehensive testing programs (user story, agile feature, system integration, automated, performance). Key achievements include shifting testing left for greater efficiency and boosting test coverage by 50% in critical projects. My leadership also involved directing QE for large Pegasystems projects and mentoring teams in developing automation frameworks. I hold the ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager Certification (CTAL-TM). My commitment to evolving with the technological landscape has led me to actively enhance my proficiency in Artificial Intelligence. I am currently pursuing graduate-level coursework at the University of Texas San Antonio, with studies in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Algorithmic Recourse. This is complemented by hands-on experience: at Nakupuna, I proactively engaged an AI team and was assigned to write the majority of the prototype code for an internal AI Chatbot (RAG & OpenAI LLMs) that will be launched shortly. I also participated in another initiative using LLMs for document declassification support, focusing on initial prototyping and model evaluations.
