About Jason Josephson

After a 25+-year career in IT, I’ve developed a robust blend of expertise spanning front-level support, application design and development, system architecture, Windows installation and support, server virtualization, and SQL Server administration. Considering myself to be a modern-day Renaissance Man, this wide breadth of experience and ability to pick up applications quickly enables me to see the full kaleidoscope of issues and resolutions. It’s this multi-angle perspective that contributes to my design and delivery of rock-solid infrastructure and failure-resistant environments. My DBA wizardry has consistently delivered results, such as: ZERO unplanned outages in >5 years Annual cost savings of Hand-picked to stand up databases & service environments at 8 global IT & OT locations Where does the magic come from? Being a database wizard certainly requires in-depth technical skills. But being the best technical resource doesn’t mean a thing without. With a humble and approachable demeanour, I create collaborative engagements that ensure everyone is on the same page. As a “Geek to English” translator, I break down technical challenges, so businesses understand how tech impacts their operations and can make the most of their organizational data. I bring a sense of humour so we can all get through our day with a smile! What my teammates say: “Jason is steady, dependable and skilled. His technical knowledge is top-notch, but his attitude and work ethic is truly admirable - he brings this to the team and his positive influence is a huge advantage, especially during project planning and fast-paced deployments. Level 80 DBA wizard.” – Senior Analyst : SQL Server to 2022; Database Design, Administration & Support; System Architecture; Disaster Recovery; Business Continuity; Data Migration; Business Analysis; Team Building; Observability; Automation jdjosephson@gmail.com
