About Jason Kautz

I have worked in the transportation industry for the last 7 years. From starting my career at Casey’s working in the shop tracking data from invoices and work orders. Imputing part numbers prices and labor prices as my first job out of high school. Working in the shop started my interest in the industry as a whole and branching out into different experiences such as completing my Class A CDL and ended up working a few part time jobs to expand my knowledge and familiarity with semi tractors and trailers. I have worked part time seasonal jobs like helping a farmer by hauling grain in and ended up getting a part time job helping the Iowa dot plow snow for the highway division in Altoona iowa. My job at Casey’s has also helped sparked interest in aviation since the Casey’s headquarters is right next to the abject regional airport. I decided to look into getting my private pilots license and that took me to getting a part time job at Exec 1 aviation as a phone service technician. There I learned how the logistics of operating a charter company work. I have worked at the front desk as well and experienced the billing operations and managing and office. I finished my private pilots certification and ended up moving back towards Casey’s and loved every moment of it. I have used my knowledge to expand and help my job at Casey’s. I also have learned some interest in data analytics with how prices of parts and labor have affected the business of transportation.
