About Jason Khan

I am currently the Head of Commercial and Relationship Directors at Cater Allen Private Bank. I oversee the commercial performance of the team and looking at building the CA proposition and helping to forge the strategic direction of the business. I previously headed up the UHNW Private Wealth offering in the UK. This will bring together the global strengths of Santander to provide best in class solutions to the UHNW sector. We will provide innovative global solutions for both the personal, family and corporate needs of our clients. Working closely with our global Corporate and Investment Banking arms to help take business to market, flotation, family succession and trusts planning. We leverage Santander Asset Management's capabilities to provide bespoke solutions across all investment classes and are continuing evolving in the alternatives space. I have also managed a team of Private Bankers and Financial Planners with responsibilities including commercial strategy, performance and risk management as well as coaching and developing. I have taken an underperforming team in London and transformed them into a high-performance team with a real desire to help customers in the right way, whilst mitigating and protecting against risk. Most importantly I have built a team who enjoys their work, has healthy competition amongst team members, has a distinct identity and is motivated. I joined Santander five years ago at the inception of the Private Banking proposition as the only Senior Private Banker in the company. This afforded me the unique opportunity to help build a brand from start. This included looking after all UHNW customers managing a book of £300m as well as affording me the opportunity to be involved in numerous development projects, such as the setting up of the digital platform, working to build and launch a Discretionary offering and working with the Product Developments Team. In addition, I have been instrumental in building key relationships between Stakeholders in the Corporate and Retail networks, rolling out the proposition to the Retail and Corporate arms of Santander and working with the leaders in those areas to find synergies.
