About Jason Klein

I’ve engaged in many psychological, academic, mental health, and educational endeavors. I received my Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology (Psychobiology and Cognitive Psychology concentrations), full coursework in Bachelor of Science (BS) in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology (NBB), and a minor in Film and Comparative Religions at Emory University. I received an MA Master’s Degree in Developmental and Cognitive Psychological Science at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). I’ve taught fourth-grade science and math at an inner-city elementary school via Emory University STEM and done research with math, reading disabled, and exceptional children at FAU. I was a psychological assistant investigating young children’s language categorization ability and developing a sense of self via Emory University Child Study Center. I taught the SAT & the GRE for the Princeton Review (critical reading, math, writing, and grammar), taught university courses at four major Universities (Philosophy, Psychology, and Chemistry), and am currently a Professor of Psychological Science at UT Tyler, a one-on-one tutor for higher level science & math areas for high school and college students, & Psychotherapy and Mindfulness Partner/Mindfulness and Psychotherapy and Mindfulness Educational Partner at Harvard Medical School (HMS). I’ve served as a Psychology Intern, addiction counselor, Mental Health Clinician, and psychiatric Consultant in the healing medical mental health arena. I’ve served as a Mental Health Clinician and psychologist in a Maximum Security Federal Prison for UTMB under a medical contract (Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Adolescents, Bipolar, Addictions, Schizophrenia, Neuropsychological, Psychological Evaluations, and treatment). These experiences help make me an effective psychological scientist, instructor, clinician, therapist, & and mindfulness partner for creating a healing, academic, resonant, versatile, amazing, realized, dynamic, inspiring, & and interactive learning and healing environment where patients & and and students can actualize their potential in philosophical, psychological, healing, dynamic, critical thinking, purposeful and meaningful, mindful, rigorous scientific, intellectual, & reinforcing realms social. I'm also proficient in the area of music journalism & band promotion- I’m intimately involved in Social Activism & Networking via a national & international touring punk sensation involved in Grass-Roots social causes. I am now making the transition into Therapy Private Practice at Palm Beach Counseling & Behavioral Health.
