About Jason Knoll

As a dedicated educator with over two decades of experience across K-12 education, I am committed to creating innovative learning environments that empower students and teachers alike. My career has spanned roles as a High School Social Studies Teacher, K-12 Social Studies Instructional Coordinator, and Elementary Literacy Instructional Coach, each grounded in the belief that every student deserves a high-quality education. As a K-12 Social Studies Instructional Coordinator, I led curriculum renewal initiatives, professional learning programs, and instructional coaching. I successfully guided educators in implementing best practices in social studies, ensuring alignment with district goals and assessment strategies. My leadership in curriculum adoption and assessment strengthened instructional coherence while increasing access to advanced coursework, particularly in AP programs. During my time as a high school teacher, I established meaningful connections for my students by coordinating sessions with ambassadors and diplomats, demonstrating the real-world relevance of their learning. As an education consultant, I worked on AP textbooks and represented the European Union at the National Council for the Social Studies annual conferences, as well as their study tour of Brussels. My ability to foster international connections and engage educators in meaningful discussions about global issues reflects my dedication to enriching the curriculum for students. Throughout my career, I’ve remained committed to social justice, civic engagement, and community. I’m now exploring opportunities to further support schools and districts in leadership roles.
