About Jason Kruth

I am a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in providing leadership, guidance, and expertise in Master Data Management and Data Governance. I am driven by analyzing data to uncover opportunities and solve problems while also looking for continuous and process improvements in all areas of the business. With a proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams, I excel in guiding them in the principles of data management. I’ve had the unique opportunity to speak and understand both the business and technical sides of the issues. I take pride in the growth and advancement of my direct reports, helping them achieve their personal, professional, and company goals. My interests extend to data analytics and visualizations with a focus on data qual, and I hold a Silver Level certification from Tableau, with additional experience in Power BI and Power Apps. I thrive in ambiguous environments and have successfully taken on roles that were newly created, ensuring their continued relevance and impact long after I transitioned. My detail-oriented approach ensures that I work through problems until I reach a satisfactory conclusion while maintaining data integrity and cleanliness, and I am always ready to direct colleagues to the right resources if I don't have the answer. Eager to explore new technologies, I actively volunteer for projects and pilot programs to gain firsthand experience and stay ahead of the curve. I am self-taught in SQL and currently learning Python to further enhance my skill set. Some of my notable career accomplishments include: • Building a Data Operations team in Malaysia, successfully hiring and training three new employees within four months, while maintaining or improving turnaround times. • Creating Tableau dashboards that are still in use at my former company. • Sustainable process improvements that have improved end-to-end SLA times by 25% • Designed, tested and deployed a mass upload program for updating master data in an AS400 system
