About Jason Lei

With an entrepreneurial mindset, I have been trained as a molecular biologist with extensive experiences in the molecular diagnostic (MDx), in vitro diagnostic (IVD), medical devices, and biotechnology-related fields for more than two decades. With a focus on R&D or product development, I have developed IVD assay kits, by following GMP, FDA, ISO13485, ISO14971, CLSI, and other regulations, standards, or guidelines, for commercial applications in companion diagnostics (CDx), precision medicine, oncology, genetic diseases, infectious diseases, food safety, etc. In addition, I also have a strong working knowledge of NGS & third generation sequencing and their broad applications with huge potentials in healthcare, agriculture, environment, and other fields. On the business side, I have experiences in business development in the role of strategic alliances development and have collaborated with clients or partners from various countries, such as China, Japan, Denmark, and India. Grown up in Taiwan and working for more than two decades with some major institutions and companies, such as Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, in the USA, I own multinational experiences with connections in Taiwan, America, and other countries. I thus have an excellent understanding of how people from different countries would conduct business both from the personal and professional perspectives. Currently, I am seeking challenges and a career opportunity in the biotechnology field for me to associate and work with an ambitious and visionary company that can benefit from my deep expertise and extensive experiences in molecular biology, commercial assay kit development, upper-level management, and international people skills.
